BATON ROUGE, LA – Following the recent collapse of 21-hour negotiations with Iran, Governor Jeff Landry announced a new strategy Monday aimed at restoring stability to the region, mass air drops of Raising Cane’s Caniac Combos.
Landry, citing Louisiana’s long history of “handling tense situations with good food and hot sauce,” said the plan would involve military cargo planes releasing thousands of boxed meals across key areas until, in his words, “folks settle down and start thinking clearly.”
“Look, nobody’s making rational decisions on an empty stomach,” Landry said. “We wanted to include extra sauce and toast, but that’s just not in the federal budget right now. And if we’re being honest, that’s a risk to the entire operation.”
According to sources, the proposal includes contingency plans for additional drops of standard box combos if initial shipments fail to produce immediate results, though officials warned their smaller size compared to the Caniac could risk having the exact opposite effect of this mission.
While federal officials have not formally responded, insiders say the proposal has sparked immediate debate over whether ignoring it would be worse.
Landry said he remains optimistic, noting that if the plan works, it could become a model for future international conflicts “or at least tailgates.”
