John Fleming Continues Dangerous Strategy of Letting Voters Decide, In Direct Conflict With Landry’s Plan

BATON ROUGE, LA – In a move described by state officials as “reckless and deeply uncoordinated,” John Fleming has continued campaigning for U.S. Senate without first aligning his efforts with what insiders are calling Jeff Landry’s “preferred outcome framework.”

Sources close to the governor confirmed that Landry has spent weeks carefully shaping the race behind the scenes, only to watch Fleming introduce what one aide described as “unauthorized voter input.”

“Up until now, we had a very controlled environment,” said one official. “Then Fleming just… started letting people decide things.”

The development has reportedly forced Landry’s team into emergency meetings to determine how best to respond to what they are calling an “unsupervised campaign.”

Despite the concern, Fleming has shown no signs of adjusting course, continuing to appear at events, speak directly to voters, and operate as if elections are meant to be decided by the public.

Landry later reassured residents that the situation remains under control, noting that “there’s still plenty of time to get this race back on track.”
