Ole Miss Fans To Spend Week Practicing Looking Happy In Case Lane Kiffin Sees Them Saturday

OXFORD, MS – Ole Miss fans are expected to spend the coming week practicing looking completely happy and emotionally fulfilled in preparation for possibly being seen by Lane Kiffin when LSU arrives in Oxford this weekend.

Fans insist they have completely moved on since Kiffin left for LSU and say Saturday’s reunion will provide an opportunity to demonstrate just how little they think about him anymore.

“We’re doing great,” said longtime Rebels fan Todd Wilkins, practicing a casual smile while sitting with friends at a coffee shop. “If Lane happens to notice that, fine. I honestly don’t care.”

Oxford residents are reportedly planning new outfits, rehearsing spontaneous laughter and reminding friends not to mention anything embarrassing that happened immediately after the breakup.

Several fans have also asked Pete Golding to remain nearby Saturday in case Kiffin looks over.

“This isn’t about making Lane jealous,” Wilkins clarified. “We just want him to see how incredibly happy we are without him.”

Ole Miss fans say they’re prepared to enjoy Saturday regardless of whether Kiffin notices them.
They would, however, appreciate knowing whether he noticed them.
