BATON ROUGE, LA – Calling it an important milestone in every young Tiger fan’s life, local father Brandon Hebert officially introduced his seven-year-old son, Mason, to the cherished LSU tradition of complaining about the offensive coordinator.
“You’re never too young to start questioning why we didn’t run the ball there,” Hebert said, carefully explaining that every unsuccessful play is evidence the coaching staff has absolutely no idea what it’s doing.
The lesson reportedly began with basic concepts, including yelling “OPEN UP THE PLAYBOOK!” after the first punt and demanding a deep ball immediately after complaining LSU throws deep too often.
Hebert then moved into more advanced material, teaching Mason how to identify a “terrible play call” despite having no idea what play was actually called.
By halftime, Mason was reportedly pacing in front of the television, asking why LSU keeps paying these coaches millions of dollars for this crap.
Hebert wiped away a tear, “Just like his grandfather.”
