BATON ROUGE, LA – In a move that stunned even longtime LSU event staff, country music star Zach Bryan confirmed a 2026 concert at Tiger Stadium, quickly followed by an unexpected condition: every concession stand must serve drinks with no ice whatsoever.
According to sources familiar with the contract, Bryan insisted the request wasn’t political, but a consistency issue, saying he couldn’t, in good conscience write a song criticize ICE while Tiger Stadium echoed with the sound of 800,000 ice cubes colliding at once.
“Honestly, room-temperature Coke feels on brand for us,” one concession manager said. “Last season we ran out of napkins, forks, and half the hot dog buns, so this isn’t even in our top ten on the problem list.”
Meanwhile, Baton Rouge residents expressed mixed reactions, with some praising Bryan’s artistic commitment and others furious at the idea of paying $23.50 for a warm drink. Still, most fans agreed they’d tolerate the policy as long as Bryan avoids commenting on the much more controversial topic of LSU’s 2025 football season.
