CATS Offers Free Haunted Bus Rides, Terrifies Passengers by Actually Showing Up on Time

The fog machine was unnecessary once the bus arrived exactly when the schedule said it would.

BATON ROUGE, LA – CATS unveiled its most disturbing Halloween attraction Saturday, offering free haunted bus rides that begin with a vehicle arriving exactly when the schedule says it will.

Witnesses described commuters backing away from the curb as the bus appeared, opened its doors, and provided transportation to the destination printed on the front.

“I checked my phone, checked the sign, then called my sister,” said one shaken rider. “Something was clearly wrong.”

Organizers initially planned fog machines and skeletons but discovered neither could compete with a functioning arrival estimate.

One man reportedly fled after the driver announced they would reach his stop before his shift started.

CATS assured residents the experience was seasonal and that normal expectations would resume immediately after Halloween.

Officials are already planning next year’s attraction: a bus that arrives on time, followed by another bus that also arrives on time.
