NEW ORLEANS, LA – New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson has reportedly expressed interest in acquiring City Hall after discovering another local organization that has spent years disappointing its supporters while continuing to collect money.
Sources say Benson was immediately intrigued by the similarities between city government and her struggling football franchise, particularly the inability to produce meaningful results despite having millions of dollars at its disposal.
“It’s really a perfect fit,” said one New Orleans resident. “Both organizations have expensive facilities, questionable leadership decisions, and thousands of people demanding somebody be fired.”
According to the proposal, Benson believes she could consolidate operations by moving Saints management into City Hall, where employees already have extensive experience explaining why nothing is working.
The proposed arrangement would also allow residents to purchase season tickets to City Council meetings, although officials warned that attending every meeting would still be less frustrating than watching four quarters of Saints football.
Benson reportedly remains optimistic, noting that unlike the Saints, City Hall has never technically lost a playoff game.
