Hospital officials said the revised profile reflects a desire for a stable, committed relationship rather than a brief fling with another healthcare system that’s “still trying to figure things out financially.”
The profile reportedly describes Lane as “community-focused, dependable, and emotionally available after several rounds of strategic planning.” Interests include serving patients, expanding specialty care, and spending quiet evenings reviewing audited financial statements.

Administrators said they considered lowering their standards but decided they deserved someone who already had their life together.
