NEW ORLEANS, LA – Authorities say two suspects have been arrested and two remain at large after a bizarre break-in at the Metairie home of Saints defensive end Cam Jordan, where nothing of value was stolen, except perhaps the team’s remaining pride.
According to police, the suspects entered Jordan’s home early Sunday morning and “left behind several DVDs labeled Denver Broncos Defensive Highlights 2025,” apparently as a “suggested viewing guide.” Investigators believe the act was less about theft and more about what they’re calling “a teachable moment for the Saints defense.”
Neighbors reported hearing laughter and phrases like “take notes” and “this is what pressure looks like” as the suspects fled the scene. Detectives say the burglars demonstrated remarkable awareness and coordination, something the Saints defense hasn’t displayed since Week 1.
Jordan later tweeted that he appreciated the gesture but “would’ve preferred Chiefs tapes.” Team officials declined to comment, citing an ongoing investigation and an urgent need to find anyone who can actually stop a screen pass.
Officials say the tapes have since been turned over to the Saints’ coaching staff, though it remains unclear if anyone in the building owns a working DVD player.
