ZACHARY, LA – The same resident credited with successfully shutting down a small dirt-track go-kart operation is now reportedly drafting a new complaint, this time targeting vehicles “passing entirely too close” on a nearby highway.
According to neighbors, the woman wasted no time pivoting to her next concern after the city revoked the track’s permit, citing what officials described as “ongoing sensitivity to normal, everyday noise.” Her latest draft reportedly argues that cars traveling at highway speeds create “an unpredictable and deeply inconsiderate sound pattern.”
“She’s very thorough,” one neighbor said. “She’s already got notes on engine noise, tire hum, and what she called ‘aggressively cutting through the wind.’”
City officials confirmed they’ve received early communication regarding the complaint and are “monitoring the situation,” though no formal action has been taken. Internally, staff members are said to be reviewing whether the existence of a highway could be considered a “preventable disturbance.”
Sources say the complaint may expand to include planes overhead, lawn equipment, and “those god tree damned frogs that have been keeping me up all night lately.”
