BATON ROUGE, LA – Members of a popular Baton Rouge Facebook group celebrated another milestone this week after successfully resolving zero issues for the 47th day in a row.
The group, originally created to share helpful community information, has instead evolved into a reliable source of unanswered questions, vague complaints, and escalating comment sections featuring at least one person saying, “Just Google it, loser.”
Tuesday’s top post asked for recommendations for a “good, affordable, nice but not too fancy restaurant,” which quickly generated 137 comments, none of which met all four criteria. Another thread regarding a missing dog ended with three separate arguments about leash laws and one unrelated debate about property taxes.
Group admins confirmed they have no plans to intervene, citing the page’s strong engagement and consistent ability to turn any topic into a multi-hour disagreement.
Members say they remain optimistic, with several noting they plan to ask the same questions again next week.
