Governor Jeff Landry Issues Executive Order on Public Service Commissioner’s Social Media Use

BATON ROUGE, La – In a groundbreaking effort to uphold the integrity of Louisiana politics, Governor Jeff Landry has issued Executive Order No. 2025-WTF-013, officially permitting Public Service Commissioner Davante Lewis to continue posting insults about the governor online—but with one strict condition.

“Mr. Lewis is free to post whatever he likes about me,” Landry stated, “but he must continue doing so without the assistance of Grammarly, spell check, or any other outside reference apps or websites. The people of Louisiana deserve to see these masterpieces of confusion from the Democratic Party in their purest, unedited form.”

The order comes after Lewis recently took to social media to call the governor a “completely asshole,” a phrase that expert linguists are still trying to translate. Other grammatical misfires in the post have reportedly caught the attention of state educators, who are now considering using the entire post as a teaching aid in Louisiana English classrooms—specifically in lessons on what not to do.
