EBR School Superintendent Offers Job to Alleged School Bus Thief

Stolen Bus East Baton Rouge Schools The SadvocateBATON ROUGE, La – Today the head of EBR Schools, Lamont Cole, offered the man who is alleged to have stolen one of his school buses a job as a driver with the school system.

“This dude only got into 1 crash after driving 150 miles from Baton Rouge to Plaquemines Parish, shattering our previous average of 1 crash every 3 miles,” Cole told The Sadvocate. “I feel like he’s earned it because there’s a chance we could see a reduction in our insurance premiums,” Cole said. “Since he’ll be incarcerated and likely unable to run his route for the next few weeks, he’s already off to a good start,” he chuckled.

Cole told us he plans on giving himself another 50% raise for making such an outstanding decision.
