Will Wade Asks LSU Fans to Wear Basketball Shoes to Next Game Just in Case

LSU fans are encouraged to stretch before arriving and disclose any remaining college eligibility.

BATON ROUGE, LA – LSU basketball coach Will Wade issued a routine fan advisory Friday asking everyone attending the Tigers’ next game to wear basketball shoes and disclose any remaining college eligibility.

“This is strictly precautionary,” Wade said while asking a season-ticket holder how tall his son had gotten.

Following LSU’s exhibition win over McNeese with just seven players, the university updated its game-day guidelines to recommend stretching, hydration, and arriving early enough to learn the offense.

Courtside spectators are asked to limit beer consumption until halftime, when coaches will determine whether their services are needed.

Fans over six feet eight inches will receive complimentary parking, provided they report directly to the locker room.

Wade emphasized that nobody should feel obligated to participate, although leaving early could now result in disciplinary action.

The athletic department confirmed that its usual halftime shooting contest will continue, with one minor adjustment.

Anyone making two consecutive shots will remain on the floor until the NCAA tells them to leave.
