BATON ROUGE, LA – Broadmoor residents seeking relief from Amazon drone noise became furious Sunday after discovering the earplugs they ordered would arrive aboard another Amazon drone.
“I paid extra for noise cancellation,” said resident Elroy Blankenship. “Apparently that starts after the landing.”
Blankenship said he selected the earplugs after reading hundreds of reviews, none of which mentioned having to stand beneath the problem while waiting for the solution.
Several neighbors attempted to change their delivery preferences, but reported the only available options were “drone” and “drone, sooner,” each of which had the LOL emoji placed peculiarly adjacent to the delivery method.
Amazon assured customers the delivery would take just minutes, describing the additional buzzing as the last noise they would need to hear before enjoying their purchase.

Blankenship tried to cancel his order but an Amazon rep said to do that he would have to sign a cancelation that also had to be sent by drone.
