BATON ROUGE, LA – LSU officials confirmed this week that a potential upcoming concert by NBA YoungBoy could mark the first time in recent memory that fans remain inside Tiger Stadium for an entire event.
The announcement follows YoungBoy’s comment that there is only one Baton Rouge venue he would consider performing at, a statement LSU administrators privately described as “confusing but flattering.”
Athletic department sources say internal planning meetings quickly shifted from sound and lighting logistics to more unfamiliar territory, crowd retention. One official acknowledged that Tiger Stadium staff are highly trained in directing early exits, reopening traffic lanes, and pretending the third quarter is the last one.
“We’re optimistic,” said one administrator. “But we are preparing for fans to instinctively stand up around the final song and say, ‘Y’all ready?’”
Stadium staff confirmed ushers have been briefed on the possibility that fans may not leave early and instructed not to panic if seats remain occupied past the final performance.
