Governor’s Mansion Expansion Includes Cane’s Dining Hall, Dedicated Drive Thru Lane for Political Allies

BATON ROUGE, LA – Governor Jeff Landry announced plans this week to expand the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion to include a fully operational Raising Cane’s dining hall, calling it “a visionary blend of leadership and Louisiana culture.”

The new addition, which will feature a marble-floored chicken finger dining area and a private drive-thru lane reserved for “political allies, select donors, and pretty much anyone who can do something for me on the DL” is expected to open next spring. “This expansion represents Louisiana values such as hard work, faith, and fried chicken,” Landry said, before confirming “no coleslaw will be served at this location by executive order.”

According to renderings from the Governor’s Office, the new wing will feature gold-framed portraits of Todd Graves and Jeff Landry alongside a custom fountain that dispenses Cane’s Sauce. The exclusive “Leadership Combo” meal for cabinet members reportedly includes a key to Landry’s private hunting camp in Mississippi.

When asked if state funds were being used for the project, Landry assured reporters the Cane’s wing was “entirely self-sustaining” through “strategic partnerships and several private donors who will remain nameless.”

Sources inside the administration confirmed that Landry personally approved the blueprint after learning former President Trump once considered adding a Chick-fil-A to Mar-a-Lago.
