BATON ROUGE, La. – In what volunteers are calling a “minor oopsie,” the entire Motel 6 on Siegen Lane has reportedly been picked up, bagged, and hauled off by local litter cleanup group Keep Tiger Town Beautiful.

Group leader Jennifer Richardson said her crew mistook the motel for a “large, abandoned structure surrounded by an abundance of trash.”
“It looked like garbage, smelled like garbage and there were at least eleven broken-down Nissan Altimas in the lot—one even had a USPS-approved mailbox bolted to the trunk,” said Richardson. “It fit our usual criteria of what makes an illegal dump site.”
Volunteers said it took several hundred trash bags, sixty-three flatbed trucks, and an agreement to never speak of what they saw taking place in Room 204.
A St. George official confirmed the motel’s disappearance has actually reduced 911 calls in the area by 67%.
East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Casey Hicks said no charges will be filed. “Honestly, they did us a favor.”
