Trump Appoints Louisiana Transportation Head to his Cabinet as Wall Czar

Palm Beach, FL – This morning President-Elect Donald Trump announced that he has created the position of Wall Czar on his cabinet and has given the job to the head of LADOTD.

Trump told reporters “Folks, I’ve appointed the head of transportation in Louisiana as our new Wall Czar. Why? Because he built a wall down I-12 that made the Great Wall of China look like a picket fence. This wall, it held back water from the north side of the interstate like nobody’s business, like it was saying ‘you shall not pass’ to the flood water back in 2016. With his help we’re gonna build a wall that’ll make America so safe, so secure, you’ll feel like you’re living in Fort Knox. Believe me, it’ll be the best.”

The LADOTD head told Trump he would only take the job if Trump promised to give him preemptive pardons for the department’s handling of the Juban Road and Sullivan Road widening projects, each of which is approximately 14 years behind schedule and over budget.
