Governor Landry Orders All State Buildings to Fly ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ Flags

BATON ROUGE, La. – Governor Jeff Landry has ordered all Louisiana government buildings to replace the state flag with the Gadsden flag, better known as the “Don’t Tread on Me” banner, calling it a “tribute to real American values.”

“President Trump made America great, and we’re making Louisiana even greater,” Landry declared while watching a 40-foot flag being raised over the State Capitol, from his brand new private jet. “This flag represents freedom, strength, and the courage to own the libs at all costs.”

Under the order, schools, courthouses, and DMVs must display the flag, teachers must include the rattlesnake in history lessons, and state troopers will wear “Don’t Tread on Me” patches.

Critics call it a political stunt, but Landry remains committed, even proposing a Trump Monument on the Capitol lawn, featuring a gold-plated statue of the former president giving a thumbs-up.

Meanwhile, a petition to rename Baton Rouge to “Trump City” has already gathered 10,000 signatures.
