BATON ROUGE, La. – In a strategic move to preserve Baton Rouge’s distinct atmosphere, the newly elected administration has announced the installation of automated weed smoke dispensers at major intersections throughout the city.
The devices, programmed to release a steady cloud of marijuana aroma, activate whenever no Dodge Chargers, Challengers, or Camaros are detected for more than 1 minute. They are also certified green devices because they use AI technology to refill themselves by collecting marijuana smoke from passing cars, pedestrians, and white women with more than four tattoos, for redistribution.
“For years, our streets have been naturally infused with the scent of premium gas—not from the pumps, but from the blunts,” newly appointed Communications Director Falon Brown told us as at least ten cars drove by honking at her. “We can’t risk losing that cultural essence just because someone in a Prius decided to stop at a red light and not contribute to our signature aroma.”
A test dispenser was placed near the bus stop at Florida and Acadian last month, but within minutes, a nearby dancer flipped it upside down and started charging $5 a hit.
The program is set to roll out officially on October 20, which, coincidentally is also Snoop Dogg’s birthday.
